About

Our Story

Dayloom began in real preschool classrooms, where we spent years refining visual supports, routines, and play-based lessons until they worked on the busiest Monday mornings. Every tool we share is classroom-tested, adaptable for different programs, and designed to help educators spend less time reinventing materials and more time connecting with children.

A close-up of a sturdy, transparent plastic storage caddy filled with preschool classroom tools: blunt-tip scissors with rubberized handles, thick triangular pencils, oversized glue sticks with worn labels, and a small set of laminated picture cue cards on a ring. The caddy rests on a smooth, light maple table with faint crayon marks and a subtle sheen. Soft, diffused daylight from a nearby window creates even lighting and delicate reflections on the plastic, with a gentle shadow anchoring the caddy. Shot from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the composition follows the rule of thirds, with a blurred background of neutral shelving, creating a focused, professional, and quietly industrious atmosphere.
A neatly organized preschool activity shelf made of light birch wood, each cubby holding a different well-used tool: wooden pattern blocks in primary colors, clear plastic bins of chunky crayons, laminated visual schedule cards clipped to a small stand, and a timer with a large red countdown dial. The shelf stands against a soft, neutral wall with a low bulletin board displaying simple, colorful icons. Late morning natural light filters through an unseen window, casting gentle, defined shadows and subtle highlights on the smooth surfaces. Photographed at child-height with a clean, centered composition and shallow depth of field, the image has a calm, professional, photographic realism that emphasizes practicality, order, and authentic classroom use without clutter.

Why Dayloom

Dayloom exists to make preschool feel calmer, clearer, and more joyful for both children and teachers. Drawing from daily classroom practice, we create tools that blend visual structure with open-ended play: picture schedules, routine cards, story mats, and ready-to-use lesson supports. Each resource is grounded in early childhood best practices, easy to print or prep, and flexible enough for a variety of programs—from small co-ops to large centers. Explore our blog for practical classroom ideas and visit the shop when you are ready for tools that are already woven together for you.

She helps craft visuals, prompts, and language-rich activities that support diverse learners, giving teachers practical tools for strengthening communication, social skills, and confidence across the day.

How It Works

Our tools are built around three pillars: play, predictability, and partnership. Play means activities invite exploration, problem-solving, and language-rich conversations rather than worksheets. Predictability comes from consistent visual supports and routines that help children feel safe and independent. Partnership reflects our alignment with common early learning standards and our focus on clear teacher notes, differentiation tips, and family communication ideas. Every Dayloom resource includes guidance for setup, suggestions for adapting to different abilities, and prompts that support social-emotional learning alongside literacy, math, and motor development.
